Alex Sidorsky is an architectural designer and researcher interested in the built environment as a catalyst for environmental, social, and cultural change. His work explores the intersection of making, technology, and landscape, using architecture to bridge speculative futures with material realities. Recent projects include a multi-modal mobility hub for autonomous logistics and a performing arts center, alongside earlier work on a sediment refinery facility, botanical tower, and experimental adaptive reuse proposals that test the boundary between image, history, and construction. His approach combines fabrication, computational representation, and material experimentation, linking technical rigor with cultural imagination.
Alex previously worked at WHY Architecture in New York, contributing to museums, residences, and science and innovation centers across multiple scales and phases of practice. He holds a B.S. in Architecture with Honors from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received the Faculty Book Award in Architecture, and is currently an M.Arch I candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Shaped by ten summers in central Maine and a month-long expedition in Alaska, he brings a deep commitment to landscape and community to his architectural work.
